World rallly museum Holland

Dear all



as a very enthusiastic supporter of the rally sport I followed the World Championship over the last twentyfive years .

I am also collecting everything what has to do whit this beautiful sport , from scale models,books and clothing till all sorts of rally reminders .
The result of this hobby was the opening of the World rally museum in Holland ,an interesting collection where events,drivers,and cars are getting attention ,those who left their mark on the rally sport .
in the meantime a public friendly room is available .

Of Course a collection is never a complete one ,,that is the most important reason why I'd like to ask you a Question .

Do you have original reminders or souvenirs you want to give to the museum to make the collection more complete ?
For example Rallyplate, signs, medals, clothing, photo(whit autograph)
old licenses,curiosities this to give your rally activty more attention !

Naturally I want to thank you very much for your attention and I am looking forward to a positive answer .

Hyvää vuotta 2010

On kulunut kokolailla tasan vuosi uuden vuoden lupauksestani seurata otteitanne Skoda-uranne ensimmäisenä vuotena 2009. Ajattelin tehdä myös yhteenvedon kaudestanne näin sivustaseuraajan näkökulmasta, kunnes luin oman yhteenvetonne. Se ei paljon amatööriarvioinnille tilaa jättänyt, lähes kaikki oleellinen siinä tuli sanottua: runsaan testaamisen merkitys uran jatkoa ajatellen, asfalttiajon paraneminen kauden loppua kohti, onnistumiset ja pettymyksetkin. Ehkä tuohon listaan voisi vielä lisätä sen, että varmasti olette IRC-sarjan nopeimpia pareja (ellette peräti nopein). Kuudes sija sarjassa ei ole tulokaskaudelle huono, pienet virheet vain söivät sijoitusta vähän kohtuuttomastikin. Kyllä te tallikaverinne luokkaa todellisuudessa ehdottomasti olette. ja ensi vuonna vähän parempiakin, uskoisin.

Hienoa, että jatkatte Skodalla, se on autona selvästi kilpailukykyinen. Ensi vuonna auto, tiimi ja rallit ovat jo tuttuja. Se on kokemusta se. Uskon, että tulevana vuonna virheitä tulee tätä vuotta vähemmän. IRC on tosi hyvä sarja, vaikka sen arvostus Suomessa on jäänyt pahasti MM-sarjan varjoon. IRC on kuitenkin kehittymisen kannalta hyvä sarja ja sen julkisuusarvo muualla Euroopassa on aika hyvä. Ajattelen, että arvostuksenne ja tunnettuutenne Euroopassa on huomattavasti Suomea parempi. Ja se on hyvä ponnahduslauta MM-sarjaan, tavoitteenne sinne on ihan kohdallaan.

Toivotan teille Juho ja Mikko hyvää vuotta 2010. Ihan tässä sormet syyhyää Montea odotellessa. Minäkin toivon sinne lunta viime vuoden tapaan. Ainakin tällä hetkellä tilanne näyttää ihan lupaavalta.
