18.07.2010: Juho third in Rally Acores
A great show all over the three days of the seventh event of this year's Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) that went so well for both Škoda Motorsport crews turned upside down in the last two special stages - Hänninen, leading the race until that point, punctured his front right tyre in the last-but-one special and fell to fourth place as a consequence, which, on the other hand, catapulted his teammate Kopecký to the leading position.

The world-famous Argentinean rally, the third race in the IRC championship, was dominated by Škodas. The Finnish driver Juho Hänninen, for the Škoda Motorsport works team, crowned his excellent performance with a convincing victory, second was Guy Wilks, driving for the Škoda UK Motorsport team, and third place was occupied by another member of the works team, Jan Kopecký.

The beginning of the second event of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) series saw bad weather -the prologue scheduled for Thursday had to be cancelled due to long, heavy rains, and so the racers appeared on the start line as late as Friday morning, with altogether 14 speed trials of a total length of 213 km ahead of them.
